Nkem "NK" Nkwonta, MBBS, MS, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Nkem "Nk" Nkwonta is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Duke University. She also has a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from College of Medicine, University of Nigeria. She did work as a medical practitioner for a couple of years in Nigeria before relocating to the United States. Being a naturally inquisitive individual, she enrolled in a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration degree at California State University, Bakersfield so that she can better understand healthcare systems, strategic management of healthcare issues, and quality initiatives in patient care.

Nk has worked in various roles in healthcare for over 18 years and is deeply passionate about mental health and wellness. She is experienced in providing care to patients across the lifespan who struggle with psychiatric disorders. This provider is American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certified and is licensed to care for individuals struggling with mental health disorders in Arizona, North Carolina, and Washington states. North Carolina supervising physician, Dr. E. Morse.

Esther Amuzie, MBBS, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Esther is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to identifying and addressing your mental health needs through personalized treatment plans. With a diverse background in healthcare, she began her career as a medical officer before relocating to the USA, where she furthered her education in healthcare.

During her master’s degree program, Esther specialized in psychiatric mental health, focusing on medication management for PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety disorders. She employs evidence-based and holistic treatment models to develop the most effective plans for her patients.

Esther brings extensive experience from various roles within the healthcare field, providing compassionate care to individuals with mental health disorders. Her approach is rooted in understanding and empathy, recognizing the critical importance of mental well-being for a healthier and more fulfilling life.
